What's new

And in tomorrows news...

@Tubbyengineer
That, is true. I'm convinced though that there is a far grander plan being rolled out in sneaky increments. All shiny on the surface but black as tar on the inside.... Tin foil hat on ! :20::S

Those two articles are letting the Genie out of the bottle, once it's out it's going to be pretty hard to cram it back in...

You may be right, but the first step that's being taken is one in our direction it's up to us to handle public perception from here by pointing out the positives and being visible as well as making sure that any sneaky attempts to shuffle things off in a diferrent direction are met with loud and very public scorn and shaming...

Yes, I've got mixed views on this. The first of which is the positive imessage to the general public that vaping is safer than smoking.

On the other hand, - I'm not feckin ill and don't need a prescription, - thank you...

^^ this .. all of it

There's a couple of devices going through patent / approval I believe. Whether or not they are an ecig shaped inhalator remains to be seen..

It'll probably cause another stir among the general non smoking/vaping public just as nrt has done before. People seeing todays news for example about nhs funds being stretched by diabetes (the war on sugar) will be taken aback that smokers can get free help while others have to suffer. We can brace for that one.

I never had prescriptions to stop smoking, nor would I expect to have them for ecigs. Positive news but buttered with a sly fuck you let's get the populace against you.

Yep! exactly my thoughts, I think some of the media will portray it that way. Tax payers money being wasted etc... :(

I spend several hours per day sat in my car with the radio on.I have noticed umpteen references to vaping...

It has been proven not to be a gateway to smoking

It is being "promoted" by ASH as more healthy than smoking

Blah,blah,blah etc.

In my own area I have yet to be asked not to use my vaping gear in a pub,I am seeing more and more vapers around the town & there are several vapers at my workplace.I have also converted several friends to vaping, and these friends are also buying their juices from me.One has even switched from smoking straight to squonking(I built the box for him)and he also bought my monster box(6 x 2200 MaH Lipos)from me,he also bought a balance charger(one I recommended)to charge the boxes.

Around Cumbria, vaping isn't frowned on(there are still the occasional twonk claiming we're going to die if we press the fire button and inhale the "evil brew")

My condition is serious so will probably be needing a course of Hellfire, Rose and Kayfun for quite some time!
