Spent 3 hours putting a dual coil build on a goblin mini. Tried .28mm then .32mm then .35mm kanthal but one leg kept snapping. I had smoothed the bottom of the screws but there appears to be a sharp bit on the holes, one on either side as I swapped the holes I was building each side on. Up to .4mm and it holds, 2 perfect coils, wicked perfectly, vaping very nicely but at 0.52 ohms it's getting far too hot. So, after reading all that, the question is, how do I file smooth the insides of tiny post holes or is there anything else I can do to stop thinner wire snapping? I'm not over tightening as any less tight and the coils move when I wiggle the legs off (is that a technical term? If not then can I name it the Jimmydids Wiggle?)

I had a similer problem with my goblin, solved it by using one of the spare screws in the little baggy that came with it.

Every atty i get i have a proper look in the post holes with a macro lense to check for loose burrs etc, i dont want to breath that shit in. Anything unsightly i tug out with tweezer, anything remaining i smooth out with some wet and dry and a cocktail stick. I've got a great dremmel set up but its easy to over due it.
I then run it under the tap until i'm satisfied all the shit is gone i then rinse them in boiling water.

Now you've read all that you're well bored lol.

Try a bit of wet n dry dude, dont take long.

Have you tried screwing the grub screws right down without any wire?If so and it has not worked I can only suggest getting a small metal drill bit that will fit and give it a few Jimmydid wiggles by hand a few times to smooth the bottom out I have a a dual build with 26g in mine at .4ohm and it`s still a pretty cool vape.

Cheers chaps [emoji106] will try both suggestions, and see how it goes. Still got 4 other new atties to coil so will use the goblin mini as it is, as long as I don't vape to much on it and change my vaping style it's working for now
