It's people. Cars aren't dangerous, people are, same thing.
I live on the isle of anglesey & it has a well trodden coastal path & there are two big high bridges connecting us with the mainland. Every year people die or are seriously injured in the following types of incidents, 1. they fall of a ledge or cliff, 2. they walk where there is no designated path & get stuck, some die, some get helecopter rescued away, 3. people using the water (The sea) don't respect it enough & get into trouble in their kayaks or jet ski's or wid surfers etc.. 4. People jump off the bridges (It's a fecking long way down)
That's not all, it's only a taster & we read about it in our local press & see it on the news every year. So who's fault is it ? The bridge architect for only making the safety barriers 4 feet high ? Mother nature for creating rocks that are uneven ? Evolution for not giving us cold blood & gills ? Should walking the coastal path be banned for safety reasons ? Stay off the bridge, wear a padded suit at all times, just watch telly but check the wiring every day in case it blows up !
I learned to mind my head as a child after several bumps....But i needed to bump in order to learn.
