Hi all, my name is Lou (aka: Snapper) and I have been lurrrkin around for a short while, but have been a bit busy spending my dosh on various vaping gear to get me off the fags for good!
Started last year with an Ego-t and Apollo V-tubewith Ce4's but gave in after a couple of weeks as all the e-liquid I had purchased tasted like sh_t!!
I have been smoking since the age of 13 (now 51 ouch!) and used GV roll ups for over 20 years! and as I have now found out, searching for a liquid close to GV is impossible.
Saying that, the only juice I have enjoyed until today is 1 year old ‘OK Smokey’ GV in a Protank 2 and Aerotank (took a long time to steep?!!)
January was the start of a second attempt and I have since invested in a Coolfire 1, VTR and 134 mini along with various e-liquids, clearomisers and tanks etc.
I have now run out of the year old OK Smokey GV and frustration is setting in mainly due to the cost of ‘naff juice’ (although some may be ok in a year or so!!).
I am down to three cigs a day and actually starting to feel healthier and cleaner, but just wish I could find a palatable juice and constant supply.
I hope it will be ok to ask you guys and gals for advice from time to time and I am looking forward to finding the time to catch up on some of the many interesting forum threads etc.

Welcome, I'm new here too.... the learning curve is steep, but worth it!

And for the record, in my experience, after a while, tobacco juices lose their appeal as you start to find the taste of tobacco reminds you of smoking.

3 weeks into giving up & the smell of even an ash tray turns my stomach!

I currently smoke various custard juices... That said when I started, I tended to find "Burley" by liberty flights to be pretty close to the GV I used to smoke in rollies.

Hi an thank you for your welcome and support. It has already got to the point where the taste and smell of the cigs are awful!
Have tried custard, rhubarb, caramel, raspberry, cherry and various mixes, even wasted money on Bobas Bounty (dreadfull vinegar taste!!)
I am now trying to get by on Socialite's Gold until something better comes along!!

Hi all,yup another Newwwwwwwwbie not to vaping BUT lol
Errrr yup not a newbie to vaping but definately a newbie to rebuiding so I thought I would dive in and ask some of the more experienced MOD USERS;
The story goes in short I purcased a Seven 22 DUE TO ARRIVE Monday after weeks of searching,well they didnt have any batteries so I purchased them seperately and then a charger and then yeah u guessed it without much thought liked the look of the Keyfun black Russian lol CLONE which I now realise is going to look pretty small :-). however I am not really put off at the idea of the rebulding but ohms and wire resistance and so on er yeah now I think I need a meter and another mortgage lol So if I give you what I have conifgeration can someone give me a recipie that isnt for disaster please .

I have looked at different configerations and methods on YOUTUBE but it can be conflcting some people keeping the coil tight and others dont seem to bother,burning and so on, type resistance wire but I am looking for a simple safe method If I havnt already blown it with my batteries didnt want to wait a 2 weeks for Sony Batts from the Usa hmm


Anyway I woud really appreciate any help and advice you may have to offer in the meantime happ vaping folks ;-)
