Another plus for stealthvapes 5mm monster wick

I'm not going to review it as Purplefowler and Mawsley have done a more than eloquent job on that already.


just to say ... I looked at it and thought ... Wtf? It's huge

but after reading Michelle's experience with the Kaifun and this excessive wick .. I thought I'd give it a blast.

now I find with the KFL .. When you first re wick it, it. Can dry burn occasionally till it gets going .. But not it seems with this stuff. I think its coz it appears to be made out of strands of 1mm wick twisted together ... So even if the main bulk unravels a bit .. Each separate 1mm wick continues to rock the capillary action.

itnfab stuff stealthvape .. I will be Ordering more without doubt.

Best flavour and wicking I've had in the KFL yet.

I've just finished my Sunday chore of rewicking everything tonight and popped 4mm Silica into the Kayfun.

While it isn't a problem I find doubled 2mm frays less and is therefore easier to pad down the well. It was easier to coil because I find the doubled 2mm moves about a bit while wrapping the wire. Being a single unit I found it slightly easier to mount into the connections and position over the airhole.

Flavour? Hmm. I changed my regular Banana Custard for Snake Oil and I'm guessing it's the KFL rather than the wick but the flavour doesn't hit anyway like I like it usually.

I've taken it off the VV (I start new wicks on the Zmax as I can dial up the wattage as the coil beds in) and put it onto a mech for tomorrow.

I've also prepped the drippers with 4mm coupled with ribbon and wire, all 1ohm or less, so I can do a head to head with Snake Oil. I got the total arse with it unravelling though, muttering and chuntering foul oaths as I endeavoured to tidy the things up after attaching the coil. I didn't experience this to the same extent with the 5mm Silica for some reason.

If anyone would like to send me two more KFLs I can do a back-2-back of the 4mm, 5mm and the Ekowool 5mm

40 minutes ago I went back and dragged out the PV2 with the Kayfun as the Rhubarb thing I had going wasn't doing it for me.

It's really getting into its stride now. Reckon I need to take a more considered think about the 4mm and do some serious comparrisons because the coil has bedded in much more and the flavour is starting to hurtle up the chimney.

I think I might be starting to really like it.
