Anyone used these concentrates?

On my search for weird and wonderful concentrates I came across this site.

Old Serpent Base Flavours : Biri Electronic Cigarettes, For the Discerning Vapourist

I thought I would ask and see if anyone had tried them before and what they thought.

I have seen others using them here and they appeared more positive, so don't let me put you off! The flavour selection does look nice, but I do think I might have an ancient and jaded palate these days :/

(Mind you, sorting through umpteen search results to find other posts on this could be a bit nightmarish :umm: I do hope some others post here! )

It is particularly the fennel that I am struggling to find at the major vendors, have you come across it anywhere?

Sadly not yet :( , but as a pretty common food and drink additive I'm sure it's out there somewhere! It's a flavour I'd love to have - think those sugared fennel seeds you get as a palate cleanser after a good curry.

Some of the absinthes come close-ish, but no, err, e-cigar :)

Diche, I've found a couple, but I have no idea how good they are or what the vendors are like as I've never dealt with them. :lucky:

Hangsen do a fennel concentrate - they do some other interesting oriental flavours like red date (jujube), I love red date tea.

Hangsen Fennel- black liquorice

... And then these folks, Vapable, offer a fennel under their own name; might be rebranded Hangsen, I don't know I'm afraid :)

You could always try make your own fennel. Chopped/crushed fennel cut up a NEW pair of tights and make like a fennel tbag. Simmer in pg for half hour in a water bath. Could prob do this with all sorts garlic, vanilla, chilli, cinnamon world's your oyster really. Not tried it but I believe it works well with the likes of ground fresh coffee.

Making flavours would be fairly straight forward, but I am worried about natural extractions containing unwanted extras like oil. With a natural extraction you really have no control over the chemistry of the resultant mix. It might be ok, it might not. I would prefer to use something made for the purpose if I can, if not I might experiment, but I see it as a last resort
