3 days for the vanilla custard? I usually leave it for a couple of weeks. Might try the next batch after 3 days. It’s really good stuff.

It gets better after a couple weeks but is definitely vapable after 3-5 days, depends on what creams etc you put in.

I use it in a few mixes but also really like it by itself.

The FA apple pie has very little apple to it so I'd suggest a wee top up with fuji apple if you have it. Maybe 1.5%.
