are samsung batterys safe?

I saw this on the news bit. are they safe? I never leave my batterys unattended . I have bags for them. Should I been worried? I never use chipped batterys. I have a special charger. called a golish.

All batteries are safe it's the people that use them you should be worried about.

Been using 25r's for a few yrs and no problem with them. always kept in a carry box when not used or out and about and like Strawberryripple said it's idiots who make them dangerous by carrying in pockets without a box

I always treat mine with respect. in total I have 14 batterys and cases for them all. and two good chargers. I'm thinking of getting another golish. because its got safety bits. but that doesn't mean I can be a dick and leave them unattended. or put them loose in hand bag.

Yes they are safe though samsung would like us to stop using them is the short answer.
