What's new

Article in the guardian

I do wonder where and how recently the media obtains their information,as I've seen a page of information on e-cigs that debunked every negative I've read on e-cigs (just never all on the one page) This morning,I received an email from SaveOurE-cigs which had me read/reread & then decide that they are starting to sound like they're agreeing to the TPD.As the Commission have compromised on some things and we're still going to end up with ineffective devices that doesn't sound like a compromise I want, the only compromise that sounds worthwhile to me is for Article 18 to be removed from the TPD entirely & proper regulations drawn up relating SPECIFICALLY to vaping, which can then be worked through & compromises made in THOSE.

These are all fine points. Clearly double blinds are impossible. Perhaps some good summaries of what is already known, in the med journals, would help. I know there was a recent piece in the Lancet Oncology that was very positive. As many have said, the most common health advice given is "If you smoke, stop. If you don't, never start." Pretty much anything's better than smoking tobacco.
