What's new

Atomizer short

rules out that then..

When you say its an old mod do you mean older model and still brand new from the seller?
If so i would contact the seller perhaps even include a link to the post here for the informative pics, as that is not right.

is there a reset for the controller? if not pulling the battery and leaving it out overnight to allow any capacitors to fully discharge may resolve a sw/fw hiccup??

if mine i would be tempted to give it a bit of a shock but my hit hard n hope approach has not had a great success record in the past..

thats very bad luck to get a faulty device like that..

coils look good btw ;)

its brand new from the seller, but an older model, for the seller, i contacted him. i'm just gonna wait, and do what you said, wait for it overnight. seems like a longshot but i don't have any choices left. thanks for the help guys really appreciate it. that coil needs multiple attempts to do that btw haha thank you.

its a VERY long shot ;) Hope its a domestic purchase. while 99% of the far east vape vendors are very good at honouring dead/faulty on arrival issues, the replacement delays can be a pita.

I have the mod and haven't come across this as of yet on 3 different RTAs. I'd be looking at your atomiser, hard for us to tell with just a pic from above. put some little simple coils in it, make sure nothing is touching and give it a go.

Check out the 3rd pic the OP posted, it Displays atty short with NO atty attached!

I would try the taking the batteries out overnight then put them back in, in the morning, like fil says everything like caps and other stuff will of discharged try putting the batteries back in and see what happens, the fault could be just stuck in the memory of the mod. If that doesn't work talk to the seller about a replacement.
