Attitudes to vaping

I find that those still on analogues think you're a sissy and look daft and non smokers think it's just as bad as real cigarettes, I've converted a couple of friends but in general I've given up arguing with people and just enjoy vaping with those that know better. That said it is nice to be able to come on here and interact with the enlightend :)

Hello from another Norwich Vaper :)

My partner is supportive of my vaping since it means that I no longer smoke the stinkies - but has absolutely zero interest in the mechanics of it. She sat and watched me and a friend mixing the other day.. she could tell that I was about to explain it to her and she just stuck her hand out and said 'DON'T' :)

My wife has been my best supporter, she had to give up the fags 5 years ago when she found she had breast cancer and has been nagging me ever since to give up. She sometimes joins in with zero nic chocolate and coconut on an ego so alls good :). Only get complaints from her when I fog up the room when on the Kayfun in full chain vape mode and we cant see the TV, so she just turns on the ceiling fan to dissipate the fug :). Work also been good and can vape happily at my desk all day , so for me mostly positive from the people who matter. Met Aholes along the way but thats life :) .

When I bought the evod twin pack, it was with the thought that if I managed to kick the cigs, it might encourage the wife to stop as well - even though we'd both been smoking for over 40 years.

More than a month later, I've kept to vaping but she steadfastly refuses to try it, on the basis that her mate told her that "you don't know what poisons are in e-liquid".:eyeroll:

Trying to explain that there are only a few basic ingredients, including stuff you can buy off the shelf at Boots, compared to the well-documented 4,000 'poisons' in her fags, falls on deaf ears. But at least she can't argue about the fact that that I'm only spending some of the £250 a month I'm saving on shiny things and juices.:grin2:

Our daughter, who is vehemently anti-smoking, is quite happy for me to sit in the living room vaping, while her mum is standing outside freezing.

And I've noticed I'm more productive at work, now that I can vape away at my desk rather than disappear for ten minutes every hour or so.
