recieved stoemtroooper av style mod yesterday and it isn’t firing properly. The pin doesn’t seem to be coming up properly. Any advice please?

Have to ask: do you know what you are doing with a mech?

If you do, then strip down the switch to its component parts and see how it works. Once thats been sussed, pop it back together, after a wee swab with a cleaning cloth and you should see that it works or how to adjust it so it does work.

If you don't please reply and we can guide you thro' a few things.

And I don't suppose you thought tae watch a review video to see how an AV mod can be footered with?

Have stripped it down, put it all back together and unscrewed in a bit more and seem to be ok now.
Have watched lots of videos online before buying the mod. Also had some advice from the website we bought it from and that has also helped.

Make sure you keep ALL the threads clean, get a fibre glass pen off of ebay ( about £2) and use that to buff up the contacts. Even a wee build up of crap can lead to a significant voltage drop on some mechs.
Once a week is fine, otherwise you get funny looks off the other half!!
