Not sure if this is the right place to do this but here goes.
Since I mixed my first batch of juices today, I decided I wanted something a bit niftier than a bit of paper and sellotape stuck to my bottles.
I remembered I had some sheets of clear Avery Labels from years ago and decided to dig them out.
I proceeded to download the Avery software for Microsoft Office, select my label code and design some labels.
Time to print them off. What a cock up that was. None of the print stayed in the defined areas for the labels.
So I tried a Linux program called gLabel, too much hassle to get the dimensions, as my label code wasn't in their database.
I went back to the Avery website and downloaded their "Design & Print" software for Windows. 15 minutes and everything is done. Although there is one problem. It only printed the image and text on the first label, the other 4 labels (same sheet) were missing the image. I've emailed Avery to ask if it's a known issue.
The really great thing about the Avery Design & Print software is that you can select which labels you want to print off a sheet.
ie, if you have already peeled off the top 2 rows from your sheet, and say 1 from the middle, you can tell it not to bother printing the ones that would take up that space.
It's a really simple drag and drop process, that I'm sure most people can handle.
So, dig out your old avery labels that have been collecting dust and have a blast!
I know I'm not a graphic designer but it did the job
