What's new

bad nic?

A 5ml mix at 3mg nic would require you to accurately measure 0.2ml of nic base...... That's about 4 drops....

Don't know how you steep. Might be worth giving the juice a warm up, hot water bath or a very quick zap in the microwave. Let it cool with the top off, repeat. May help denude the nic a little.

Thanks for the suggestions. I usually give them a hot tap water bath for 10mins, shake until my arms about to fall off then chuck em in the cupboard and shake once a day for about a week. Ive got some 1 & 2ml syringes so I am being very accurate with measurements. I might try some new nic and see if that helps. Ive only had it a couple of weeks. Shake it well before use and keep it in the fridge. Is that a decent way to store?

Personally I don't shake my nic viciously. Storing in the fridge is good. Can identify with your problem, I'm pretty sure it could be the nic.
I now use Vapable, very happy with products and service. Give them a try for your nic. Not sure if DIY5 code is still active, 5% discount.

Cheers all. I use vapable for my flavours and there good. Might try darkstar as they have discount code I think at the Mo and generally heard good reviews. May try nic in PG this time as I bet its easier to handle

I ordered some VG NIC from vape Inc about 6 weeks ago and have had similar problems as the OP. I am not entirely sure it's the NIC, the other ingredients or lack of steeping. I have just received my order from Darkstar and have repeated my recipes with their NIC and trying to find out the problem through a process of elimination. With so many variables it's a bit of a chore.

My Darkstar NIC is pg which I find easier to work with (less viscous) but it sometimes restricts higher vg recipes.

I started getting really cracked up lips and a sore throat and tongue but any or all of these could be incidental.

I have been mainly sampling a cupcake world single flavour (Jam Roly Poly) which was initially harsh (after 1 week) but has become significantly smoother and more vapable after another week or so.

I also asked my main premixed juice supplier if he had changed the formula to see if this was the cause but apparently not.

I have also dropped the nicotine levels in my latest batches to around 8mg as I have been using lower resistance builds in the Aromamizer lately.

Let me know if you manage to identify the problem.

EDIT: Just realised my initial vg nic was from Justvape247 not Vape inc. Still not used any of the vape inc nicotine I ordered.Apologies
