Hello there
My name is sean and ive been vaping for a few years now. I started making my own liquid just before the TPD rulings came into play. Just before the ban on nicotine sales I got myself a litre of 100 VQ nicotine from Darkstar.
The Nic from Darkstar always had a slightly yellow colour to it, it has been stored in the freezer still in the plastic bottle with all the air squeezed out.
since googling my issue I now know that ideally I should have split my litre out into smaller glass bottles and allowed them to come to room temperature before opening, I haven't done this in the last 12 months.
I recently purchased some concentrates from vapable and they both came out awful, the flavour was very muted and it left a horrible slight burning taste on my tongue. I assumed this was down to rubbish concentrates so I recently bought myself a bottle of T Juice's Green Kelly. I mixed up 200 ml with 15% flavouring and 6mg nicotine. I gave it a good shake several times and left the bottle bathing in warm water with the lid off.
The liquid tastes awful again, muted flavours and a horrible taste on my tongue.
any ideas what my issue could be? Im pretty sure its something to do with the nicotine as Tjuice flavours where always spot on in the past and my base is from juice cabin and never had a problem with their stuff either.
Has my nicotine gone bad? I hope not as I still have about 3/4 of a litre left and don't fancy getting ripped off for nic shots.
Thanks people
