I cant get at the TOP THINGS under " WHATS NEW, FORUM and GALLERY" etc because there are 2 lots of writing on top of each other......so its hard to work out what i'm gonna press when trying to open these 'new comments'

Sounds like you are zoomed in a tad too far fynger. Try holding your Control key down whilst scrolling Down on your mouse or keypad.

I was wondering what that big empty white box was for beside the shout box

We're NOT zoomed in...On top of 'Forum Home' it says WIKI in bold....and on top of ' New ??..?? Messages ' it says Classified Ads in bold......as you can see...i can't read it.

I only get that if the browser isn't full screen

I get the same too when browsing on a phone, the two lines menu overlaps and makes neither useable.
