Grim's chart is crap.
I just glanced at the AWs.
8 | Aw 18650 1600 mah | 16 amp | 20 amp | 10c
9 | Aw 18650 2000 mah | 16 amp | 20 amp | 8c
From AW's (Andy Wan's selling post on CPF) he lists the AW IMR 1600 mAh as having a max discharge rating of 15C, which = 24A. The 2000 mAh IMR18650 he lists at 10A, or 5C.
When folks say "using an AW IMR" they need to specify which one.
Here's a comparison test @ 10A.
A BIG difference in performance, and obviously for the most part any mAh after ~3.2V is useless.
Also note how identical the two samples of the 1600 are, that trace is actually 2 traces.
We hear a lot about various new batteries the Sanyo, Sonys etc. But the best HD battery available for our use is this one.

Very minimal voltage sag and the best actual vaping mAh available.
Note this is the vendor that the tester at the flashlight forums used. I would avoid Fasttech, as they have known to sell old stock.
