Batteries

I would of thought battery sag of two cells in parallel would reduce the overall current available from those two cells in true life. For instance, two 2000mA batteries would not provide 4000mA but more like 3800mA.

I'm not sure.

... I'll just go with what @StrawberryRipple said because he posted about the concentrates, so I owe him one.

I will only agree with @StrawberryRipple if he can find the paper that states a 20% increase of each cell when connected in parallel lol. Even tho I dont agree, he's still a nice guy.
We're talking or I'm talking series though as in most regulated mods.
Parallel is a completely different game of solitaire.

hate to throw a spanner in the works, but mooch says in a regulated mod series/parallel doesn't matter.

Oh blimey I thought we were talking about doubling the current capacity of two batteries. Series configs doubles the voltage but the current will remain the same as that of a single cell.

Maybe we're at crossed wires.
It's about run life.
Run a torch on a singe cell lets say it lasts 60 minutes.
Add another cell and from what i read it will increase the run time of each cell by 20% as the load is less burdoned so two cells the same torch will run for 160 minutes.
