Battery advice for Smok TFV12

So, my VTC5A's arrived today (big up to Fogstar) and I've charged one pair and just put them in my Smok gpriv with the TFV12 cloud beast tank.

WOW... my first 'hit' blew my socks off. Much more flavour and a cloud that'd put a nuclear bombs mushroom cloud to shame.

I'm running at 150W on the 'soft' setting as I was previously but these new more powerful batteries are putting out some power that's resulting in a huge hike in performance. If I open a window I reckon it wouldn't be long before someone called the fire brigade!

Thanks again to all who've helped out here and given me excellent advice.

Hopefully now my device won't be cutting out after a few firings.

Awesome advice by everyone. Thanks sorry I'm not much help - currently on holiday and perminantley intoxicated. My young padawans are running the website. It'll be back to normal next week.

I have the fogstar 3500mah 10a batteries. Using in a VTC mini @40-45w with a 0.4 ohm coil. The calculations above say that's around 14 amps, but my mod tends to say it's using around 9.6 amps when firing.
Would you say these are safe in this mod at these levels?
