There is no official firmware upgrade for AL85 on SMOK page and I was wondering what is this firmware, if not just a tool to brick the mod

I have a couple of al85, one came with a newer firmware , which is the one available on Reddit. V1.0.12 I think it is. Why it's not on official smok site I don't know, been months now and starting to doubt it ever will. Tc has never worked on it even with newer firmware.
