Battery questions

OK Protected for a mech mod and unprotected for a vv/vw yes? Who is the dude that sells them? Have a vague recollection its torchy or something. Want some 18650s for a mech mod.

I use IMR's (safe chemistry) in both mechs and Vv devices and get all mine from torchy

He's got his own bit in vendors on ukv or ebay he's big_f_d_d or something like that

ebay.... just type in say 18650 batteries and look for the photos with the scottish flag thats him his monica is big_f_d_d

People are getting confused with people saying use protected for mechs etc IMR are safer chemistry and are therefore considered safe/protected for mechanical mods if you go and buy a battery with a protection chip most are no good for mechs as the protection chip will limit amps taking away one of the best most important features of a mechanical mod. The best thing to do is use Efest AW or torchy or any other IMR batteries in both mechanical and VV/VW
