Battery safety.

Also for all practical purposes assume that ALL unbranded generic Lithium batteries are poor quality and have a current draw limit of not very much.


Similar to only ever charge an e-cig with the charge cable that came with it, don't use batteries that come with a regulated mod in a mech mod.

they'll probably work, they'll probably be fine, but, you only need to be unlucky once and it's just not worth the risk.

A reasonable EFest IMR battery is under a fiver. A good AW or Torchy battery isn't lots more expensive.

Dammit, you beat me to it. Although those batteries claim to be protected, for under a fiver you can get decent 18350's.. I picked up my Efest IMR 18350's for around a fiver each, they have a 10.5 amp limit. I have run these down to 0.7 ohms, which is around a 6 amp draw and well within safe limits for these batteries. I personally wouldn't push them any lower though cos they is only little.
