BBC Look North Ecigs

It was good that they actually got an ecig retailer who knew what he was talking about. He came across brilliantly and had all the answers. And the tweets read out at the end were all in our favour.

Yes, and that sensible woman explaining the massive overdosage of nicotine an ecig will give you compared to a cigarette. When I say "sensible woman", perhaps I mean daft bint.

I wish these experts would say how much nicotine was dangerous, but they never do, cuz they don't know. Nobody has ever died from vaping too much nicotine because if they did we'd never hear the fucking end of it.

Bog standard propaganda push from the BBC, pushing the preferred government line under the threat of economic sanctions via government control of the TV license fee.

It was refreshing to hear the contact responses at the end of the program.. this seems to show that people are actually seeing the benefits of vaping for themselves and rejecting the quit or die mantra despite the best efforts of big tobacco, big pharma, big government and big tobacco control.

A triumph of real world results and success stories over the scaremongering and propaganda of vested financial interests.

If we are going to 'win' in the long term, then it's word of mouth and the spread of vaping through family, friends, work colleagues and social networking that will win the day for us and expose the scaremongering and propaganda for what it is.

I wonder if the scientists will do a Vaping Beagle. The outcry from that would be astonishing.

Why would they need to?

If the 'scientists' want actual, solid, real world data, then all they have to do is engage with us and ask for our help.

I'm sure there are plenty of vapers who would be happy to help in long term studies and get the chance to prove that vaping is a far healthier option than smoking.

It's a lot easier to get accurate feedback from a willing human volunteer than a beagle with an ego strapped into it's gob I'm sure. ;)

Bugger! I guess I'll have to leave the latch off the kennels again.

That's all we ever hear, the long term effects. If nobody actually starts a study we'll never know. But as long as there is no study, they can always throw that one at us.

If you leave the latch off the kennels in Lincs and let any beagles roam free, they'll probably just get snaffled for fox hunting. ;)
