mAh is how long the battery lasts so any 18650 will be fine. Generally, higher mAh batteries have lower amp discharge so IMHO you should be looking at the continuous discharge amps above the mAh.
Higher amps means you can pull more power from the battery for lower ohm coil builds so if sub ohming is your thing, get yourself some 30amp batteries so you don't strain and posibly destroy lower amp batteries.
You will quite possible save your face too
i'm using quite a few nitecore i2 and i4 and finding quite a lot of inconsistencies over the months, either batteries charging too fast or taking too long, or not charging at all, and i've used only efest batteries, no cheaper brands...
