Best coils for use on mech with mechs with minimum ramp up?!

Sound, I can put away the brown trousers then.

If you want to build that low a set of LG hb6s are recommended - they are 30A rated cells. Or, you could use slightly thicker gauge Brochrome and have as much fun without the sense of impending boom.
Brochrome is damned finest kind stuff in a mech, as it is flattened you get more surface area to make the vapourz. And it is dashed easy to make intae coils.
You'll no regret getting a spool from Stealthvape!
Haha you sure can, have no fear.

It’s not even that I want to build low.. it was just as the first comment suggested to build that low I was like.. hold on? Surely that’s too low lol.

All I was looking for is what the best pre made coil or wire to minimise the ramp up time!

I do appreciate the concern though as I know how dangerous the mechs can be if I really was building that low!!

I use 24gauge flat Nichrome N80.

3 mm ID, 7 wraps, single coil comes out at around 0.5 ohms, 9 amps.

I personally recommend sony vtc5a cells. As to ramp up, I do not totally agree that going for ni80 or ss is the solution, it is only part of it. I also suggest to use a fairly small gauge wire with a low resistance. I personally use parallel claptons 2 x 26g ni80 wrapped in 40g with 5 x 2.5 mm wraps, and I get .15 ohms and no ramp up.

So, what is the rest of the solution then??

This was what my post was all about. To make it clearer : small gauge, low resistance wire so as to keep the number of wraps down equals little to no ramp up ;-)

Hmm. No your post didn't actually say that. You made suggestions.

Again, to quote 'I do not totally agree that going for ni80 or ss is the solution' you then say you use Ni80 fused claptons....

There are a couple of ways to shorten ramp up: using narrow gauge wires in parallel like you do OR you can use higher gauge SS coils.

Personally I'm far happier with my Brochrome which gives the most of both worlds.
If you've no tried it, drop me a pm and i can send you a wee length to trial out.

What I wrote seemed clear enough so as not to be interpreted as "going for ni80 or ss is NOT the solution". I only meant that this was merely a step one can take to reduce ramp up, but that other steps need to be taken in order to better solve the issue.
At this point I think we have both offered Lewisvapes relevant clues for him to explore.
I am intrigued by your brochrome, I have never heard of it.
Finally, please accept my apologies for not making myself clear at times ;-)

Flatwire 22/38 nichrome flaptons are mighty fine in a mech, good low resistance and a fast ramp up. Think Brochrome clapton! [emoji16]
