another vote for a nemesis as a first mod. Locking mechanism is great, no problems with flat top or nipple tops, no worries about battery rattle - loads of pluses and can't think of any negatives to be honest.

A genuine nemesis will be almost impossible to find. I think vapist UK is your best bet just bait for stock updates and be quick. Just seen someone say the last batch of 50 sold in 9 mins.

hmmm best mechanical mod? Anything from slowtech for under £15.00 that works and does what a mech does, ie sends power to the atty when i press the button, is always best in my book!

i have the stingray mod aswell and agree with the jester and the nemesis mod was always going to get a mention here you didn't say original or clone but this might be worth a look http://www.midlandsvaping.co.uk/reduced-to-clear/123-phantom-mod.html its an original for the price of a good clone and its telescopic so no probs with battery rattle just a thought

There's a few reviews on YouTube and only thing that goes against it is there is no lock ring the button is flush also it's a rather stiff fire button but I'm sure a spring would sort that as for performance it's on par with high end mods without the big price tag.

Looks like Nemmy coming out on top if you want a mod very similar available and cheaper that is very similar but no magnet upgrade "could be if worked out dimensions" the Cerberus SS is £109 from MV and comes with kick ring etc, very nice mod.
