Best mods right now???

Still not getting the Smok hate that is so fashionable. I have four Smok mods and four Smok tanks (six including RTAs) and they've all given me great service for years. OK, their coils are average at best by today's standards. Am I detecting a touch of Emperor's New Clothes Syndrome?

They made coils with LED's in them ...... do I need to go on?

I will now add my thoughts. You can't get much better than a DNA chipped device. When someone says whats the best mod, well it isn't so much the mod but the chipset controlling it that makes it.
Smok and a lot of other chipsets aint much cop to be fair. So You could buy something that looks so nice, but fails in respect of being a good device because the chipset is not to good.
Ok a DNA will cost anything from About £50-120 but you get what you pay for. Others that are worth a punt are the Voopoo Drag 2. Vsticking 530.
Those 2 have really good chipsets that work as they should and are around the £50 mark for a 177w-230w mod.
All you really have to do is find something with a good chip that you like the look of,
Smok have had a lot of issues with devices over the years same with Ijoy. So my advice is avoid those 2. Oh and check Voopoo website the Drag2 may still be $45 which is a steal.

Thanks mate I'm quite new to it all and only just started building my own coils and I'm vaping between 50-70 w at the moment would the Voopoo be any good for that or too powerful?

The Drag mini has been a total surprise for me, way better than I imagined, only time will tell (and it's early days) but it feels really well made. There's no aspect of it that feels cheap or badly designed.

Hi mate the Voopoo drag2 would be perfect. Being duel 18650 it will last a good while before you need to charge batteries. You also have plenty of spare watts should you want to have a bit more of a cloud around. Also you won't be pushing the chip/mod to it's extremes using 50-70 which in truth is where i vape most of the time myself, The Drag 2 is much nicer in the hand than the Drag 1 which you can get really cheap now, noe the less it is also quality Just bigger in size and 20w max less ie 157w max. If the Original Drag interests you i will find a link where i seen it cheapest, let me know on that mate.

As above The Geekvape legend is also excellent and it is waterproof and shock proof . Have a look at the reviews section there's reviews on the Drag 2 and the Geekvape legend.

Geekvape Aegis Legend is a great one.

Ah now... Before we stocked them, I would have agreed.

But we did stock them... And had a 60%+ return rate due to failures in the 510 and battery sled.

Shame as I really do like that mod, was just a shock to how many actually failed.

Reading about them both I like them, I like the looks of the drag 2 and the durability of the legend. I guess I can't chose on looks alone else I would of ended up with the smok mag because the pistol grip is awesome lol. Being new I've never really thought about chip sets and such so mods with DNA chips are better then?

interesting info, 60% out of how many?
Did Geekvape fix and return them according to a warranty or what was the usual story?

I'm using mine for about a month now, so far working without a problem.

Think we sold about 12 before we stopped stocking them due to the return rate.

We have one chap who bought one and it's been bullet proof for him, he has dropped it numerous times and it's still 100% but others that people took home and just dead on arrival. Others lasted 2/3 days.

Geekvape have been contacted, they done the usual thing 'This is how you fix it' but have gone very quiet after the fixes didn't work.

A working Legend is absolutely brilliant, I was just very surprised by the return rate for us.
