Best mods right now???

I started with a pen thought it was good, then tried a smok and thought it was great then got a dna 250 and never touched the other things again

So what was it about the DNA device that made it better?

Did you use the same atomiser on all 3 devices to make the comparison valid?

I have indeed. Used a big baby beast and a troll RTA. Basically what sets the DNA chip above a smok chip is accuracy, YiHi chips are supposed to be nearly as good as DNA ones but I have never tried one.

read this if you like https://vapebeat.com/vape-news/dna-...s-features-vaporshark-dna-200-lavabox-dna-200

I'll be honest, I'm very unlikely to read that link - nothing personal, just can't be bothered ;)

I've never tried a smok device, nor a DNA so I'm not (and wasn't) challenging whether one was better or not.

One thing I will say though, with the various chipsets I have I've never thought "this could be more accurate". I honestly don't care if it's outputting the displayed wattage, because I don't really look at it much anyway and I've never measured it (people who say "it feels like a 90W vape" or similar are butt talking imo) - and with TC, I don't care if it's within X degrees of the displayed temperature just so long as it stays close enough to where I set it.

fair enough. dna mods are 97%+ accurate so there are mods out there which you may have 60w but its not 60w . But whatever each to their own.

But my point was, so what if it's not 60W?

I have a 200W device, I'm never going to get close to 200W.

If it displays 60W and vapes nicely, why does it matter if it's actually 52W or 67W?

If I stick the atty on another mod and it needs to display 52W to perform the same, why does that matter at all?

There are so many variables anyway that absolute accuracy of output is a very minor consideration in the scheme of things - reliability is the main thing for me, mostly.

I think it does, but like I said each to their ow.

Just curious (and honestly, just treating this as a chat).

Why do you think it does matter - does it give you some perceived advantage?

Is the accuracy the real reason it was better than the smok, or was the smok simply crap anyway? (Crap can be caused by so many things other than accuracy btw)

Funny that, in several posts I've noticed that you can't be bothered / get bored with it, when the discussion seems to be going against you..........

well think of it this way. French cars are ok but generally crap and less reliable when compared to German and Japanese cars and if you look at the sport cars you'll find the gear ratios, fuel delivery and efficiency si far superior to the french ones. The same could be said for smok vs dna

And how is this discussion possibly going against me?

I'm asking for a personal perspective as to why this particular thing is of value to one person, there is no right or wrong answer (even if he's confusing the terms "accuracy" and "consistency", which often happens) and there is no argument.

On the whole, if I can't be bothered to carry on an argument it's because I'd get a more intelligent response from a goldfish.
