Best mtl setup

Hi @BT_ welcome to the forum, good advice from the above posts the @Innokin adept Zlide is a good kit for MTL but it’s whether it suits your requirements. It has a 3000 mah battery so can be heavy but it’s what will work better for your personal use.

That's quite a pitch for the caliburn, but it might also be worth considering the reflex - that is the nearest thing to a cigarette that I know of. Costs more though, about 50 notes.

If you did want a traditional tank/mod combo, the z80 from innokin is a decent starter mod and @ForestMagpie is forever recommending the fireluke 22 so it's probably very very good.

Are you psychic?? I'm rocking that exact combo (z80 & Fireluke22) today while working! They don't match but I don't care!

Again, thanks for the kind welcome.
My only reservation after looking at the Caliburn, it looks alot like the vapresso pod the missus has just got (dunno model and setup off the top of my head) but when I tried hers it was like fresh air. Didnt give me the kick I'm looking for at all.
Tbh, the closest thing I've tried so far is an elux legend disposable, with the flow switch almost shut... if that makes sense. Nice draw and a decent throat hit.
As I say, size and battery life aint a real concern really.
I might try the Caliburn and also get a proper mod so I've got the option and or a backup ‍♂️

Hi @BT_ and welcome to the forum.

I definitely concur with the @Innokin Z80 suggestion, but if you think you'd prefer a pod the tightest draw I've had this year was the @VOOPOO Doric 20, although my personal choice would be the Sceptre MTL. It's still the best IMO.

Battery capacity will probably become an issue faster than you think too, so it's worth bearing it in mind even if you don't feel that way now.

Ha, I almost want to try one myself, even though I haven't used a stock coil in years. I like those dark z80s too they look the dog's.
If you decide you want to try one I'll happily send you one with a coil so you can give it a whirl. Yeah I do like my z80 as it looks great and performs superbly.

The z80 is getting high praise, but someone mentioned the Adept, that might sway me with its supposed robust and waterproof features.... decisions decisions!!
The Septre does look a stylish piece of kit tho!
And I do appreciate what you say about battery life, but I genuinely don't think that will be the biggest concern to me, time would indeed tell

I'll take you up on that mate if you have a spare one to loan out. Happy to cover the postage and packing. RTAs can get high maintenance sometimes.
