I am fairly new to this but obsessed already. My better half and i are currently still smoking cigarettes which hurts me to admit but come payday our new life begins! I have now negotiated a budget of £300 (this has arguably risen rapidly over time) Im thinking that rather than having/wanting to upgrade in the near future i should 'push the boat out' and try to buy something that sounds like its going to last and maximise the best possible flavour and vapour.

We have both been smoking Fairly heavily for over 20 years. I enjoy being a little more hands on so have opted for a mechanical mod. My other half who is a little more safety concious would prefer an electronic. This, after extensive research on my behalf, is the best (and the cheapest) i could come up with. your veiws would be much appreciated.

For Him For Her

Hcigar Nemesis SS clone -thesmoking - £55 Sigelei zmax v3 - smokecloud - £50
Smoktech RSST Genesis -thesmoking - £20 Kanger protank 2 - thesmoking - £15
New magnets for nemesis to replace spring - Guysmagnets £2
Kanthal .25/30G - thesmoking - £5
Marine grade 316 500 mesh -thevapemeshcompany - £10
Kick - £10

Juice - Vapology
Nitecore i4 battery charger - £15
imr batteries 18350 x2 and 18650 x2 - thesmoking - £35
Very nice drip tips x2 - Pinkmule - £45

would suggest 400 mesh and .32 kanthal from the vape mesh company

also a kick kinda negates the need for using a mech and alot of people might argue that you may as well geta vv/vw if your going to use a kick.
ALso worth investing in OHM meter ( about £13 ) . and for the missus also look at the Innokin Itaste VV as its a perfect mod for going out and about and still has variable wattage, voltage etc but without the bulk or size of a Zmax ( look for version 3.0 with the USB port rather than earlier version that has pin connection )

also if your going down the build route some cotton wool balls ( pure unbleached from baby aisle ) as it makes for great building alt to mesh ) and maybe a nice dripper too ( IGO w, SMok SCAR etc ( all under £20 ) and batteries
EFEST at the best shop, great price or try Torchys too

( dont have link for torchys as he sells through ebay )

finally always worth looking on greyhaze too as they have some other mech mods ( really nice ones ) and some nice drippers and RBA's

Thanks for the feed back.

I see what your getting at with the kick (i think). Does it not make it any safer at all?

I dont suppose you could elaborate on why you would choose 400 mesh over 500 and why .32 kanthal.

Sorry if this is obvious. Is it simply preference?

A good call for Torchy. Here is his price list moonlyta

I suggest you get a couple of provari's and couple of really decent genesis atomisers straight away.

That way your going to save 10 times that amount on all the crap your going to buy along the way. I sure wish someone had given me that advice when I first started.

It does make it safer but many use the kick to get a continuous set voltage/watts, without it you will get the full power of a battery until it discharges, with most IMR batteries you will know when it needs charging as you get very little vapour and will need to put it on charge :)
For safety get good quality batteries, most vapers will recommend AW IMR and Efest IMR - Torchy is an excellent vendor for the Efests :)
I notice you are getting a Nitecore i4 charger, really good choice ;)

#400 marine grade SS mesh has better capillary action being a lttle less fine than the #500, I prefer the #400 in my builds as I had some dry hits with the #500 :)

Hope this helps, Good Luck :D
