Help me find my ideal Vaping setup!

Brands, start with the vendors on here and get discount! Avoid cheap juices from china! Your an open book then lol. VV devices YOU do the tuning to find the sweet spot, so you might want a bit more oomph on say a 1.8 ohm atty but less on a 1.2. With VW devices you set it up once and the device will auto tune to give you the same vape as you first set up, regardless of the resistance of the coil. If that makes sense?
You can go as big as you want or small tbh. Google "Vape mods" and "Vape RBA's" on images (Im not saying go and look on google for your answers before anyone says owt! lol) it will give you a few ideas of whats available and what they are called. Ask away on here, no question is a stupid one! We were ALL there once (I still am!)

In my opinion Mech mod with a kick. Tried IGO-L dripper not bad but you have to keep dripping, bit of a pain for me. What we need is a dripper but with some kinda tank with it.

auto dripper, they've been done, oh god I can only remember Grimm Greene's, but a few have done em lol

Hmm, Lot's of things to explain here. Firstly you mention 0mg nicotine - availability of zero nic juices is kind of patchy, the best way to get them is to mix your own, the upside of it is that if you're using just PG+VG+Flavour then this stuff is going to be cheap as chips to make. You wont get much throat hit without nic but there are additives that can help with that, or you could risk a 6mg level as most other things you've tried had a certain amount of nic in them and it isnt actually bad for you.
You want lots of vapour, that really does mean venturing into the rebuildables end of the market, for Maximum vapour a dripper is probably the best bet.
Mods, Mechs are widely accepted as the thing to use with drippers if you want to get maximum vapour, however you cannot jump straight in as you'll need to learn about building coils, battery safety, resistance, wicking materials, PG/VG Ratio's, Flavourings, additives, nic levels and last but not least you'll have to get all this kit together.
For safeties sake you should ensure you buy the best batteries and charger you can afford and make extremely sure you know the limits of both as the results of getting it wrong could be the battery exploding in your face. You will need a dripping atomiser - probably about £20 for a reasonable dual coil capable one but a beginners single coil type you can get for under a tenner, wick, wire, blowtorch, cutters, precision screwdriver set and a resistance checker complete the kit for the rebuildable atomiser. For the Mod about £25 -30 should pick you up a reasonable mod (probably a nemesis clone or similar), a pair of MNKE 18650 about £18, a Nitecore or Xtar charger about £25

Reevo You're talking about bottom feeders or "Squonking", the Sunbox Skynet is a good one - if you have a mod that will fit it (Provari etc)...

lol Squonking yeah that was the one I saw Todd do, I think Grimm done more of a genny tank with cotton that you just tipped up when you wanted to re - juice the wick?

Great, VW it is then!

I found some pipe-esque vaporisers on Google images, is there any merit in them technically or do they just look cool? I much prefer the form factor of a pipe, and obviously the look but I'm still talking substance before style at the minute.

Thanks again!

So are pipes effectively just an alternative battery/coil part, then the other parts of the rig the same? Is there any difference in output or stuff? Watching the video on one of the threads at the minute, the guy seems overjoyed with it.

Sorry if I'm asking too many questions!

The bowl is usually the battery holder, the atty screws onto that making the stem and mouthpiece. The fire button usually on top of the bowl or to the side. No difference with output just another "style" of mod. Its MrKraken with the pipes btw lol. Ask as many q's as you like, not saying I can answer em all but someone will!
