Best thing to use in a kraken?

Hey all!
Was just wondering what is best to use in a kraken, and also the ithika?
I watched todds review on the kraken and he used steel rope and SS mesh.
Also where would be the best place to get mesh and SS rope?

Hi @Doofry I have just set the Kraken up myself, had a few teething probs with just a ss wick but I had a spare piece of rope left so used that with a little cotton around the top part and used some 0.20 Kanthal. Had mine about 2 weeks now after waiting 5 weeks pre order, its a top atty,ive tried most ways of wicking it but find ss rope with a bit of 400 mesh wrapped just round the top with 5 wraps of twisted 0.25 kanthal is the best,im getting 0.8ohms,big clouds,great flavor.

Awesome thanks guys, however, i believe the kraken has a 2.5mm hole, best size rope to use?
Also what is the difference between 7x19 or 7x7?

Well Ive just wicked mine with 3mm silica and 5 wraps of .3 wire, shows .92 on meter, Boy is this a keeper or what, got some Mrs Lord Sarsaparilla in it, a juice I wasnt sure of in a dripper but flavour and plumes from this makes it a completely different vape
