"Nicotine vaping products are being sold featuring colourful flavours" - Nicole Higgins, president of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Jeez.

I suppose she`s referring to the red astaire, blue raspberry and purple slush?
Australia is going the way of the USA where it`s easier to buy a gun than it is a vape, crazy.

Major vape manufacturer Philip Morris (PM.N) welcomed the crackdown on such shops.

If Phillip Morris supports it, it can't be a good thing.

Such companies only support restrictions if they feel their business is being threatened by noobs.

Nice try Aus but all you`ve done is to show your lack of ambition to put measures in place to stop kids buying vapes, whilst leaving adults the choice. Once you start issuing bans you create opportunities for a black market to flourish.
It doesn`t follow that because the tobacco industry duped billions of people into thinking that smoking wasn`t harmful that the same will happen with vaping, I haven`t seen or read of even one case where vaping has caused the crippling, debilitating sort of illness that tobacco smoking does.
Stop kids vaping, fine, but leave adults the choice.
