May be a stupid question but I am looking to make some if my own liquids and love the taste of bourbon and wanted to know if there is any way to use the alcohol as a concentrate and if someone has done it before?

You could add it in as-is but would taste pretty weak imo, best way would be to reduce it by way of heating so majority of the water/alcohol evaporates, leaving you with a thick concentrated syrup, then mix this in with some PG and you have your own whiskey concentrate.

I can't provide quantities, would simply be a case of trial and error, might waste a lot of bourbon trying to create the perfect concentrate.

There are a lot of concentrates already on the market, mostly kentucky bourbon if that's close?

I have ordered 100 ml pre made 70/30 vg/pg 8 mg liquid. How much flavouring would I add? Got 10 ml bourbon and 10 ml cola. I believe both pg based. How much would I add and what would be end pg/vg?
