Burnt taste experienced with wickless ce5+ coils from offset?

Hi all I'm new to this forum, I wondered whether anybody can assist me please? I originally started using ce4 clearomizers with the ego T battery, I then stepped up my game & tried the standard ce5 replaceable end coil.. Then I delved deeper & I'm now using the ce5 + with wickless coils.. But I keep experiencing a horrid burnt taste whilst vaping.. I tested the problem by replacing the coil for another wickless one, but still experiencing the same burnt taste!! My vaping experience is hitting an all time low at the mo, what am I doing wrong?? Thanks

I've never used them but burnt taste normally means the eliquid isnt getting to the coil or that there is a hot spot on the coil. I've not really heard good things about the wickless...


Try an EVOD or Kanger protank mini.

A friend of mine encountered this too and it was down to using a thicker juice not wicking fast enough and not priming the wick quick enough & he had issues with anything above 80/20 ratio on his juices

he switch to evods soon after

Hello and welcome Mini Mel, sorry, can't help on the CE's as I've never used them. I'm sure someone who can will be along soon.

I agree with KulrMeStoopid, I'd recommend evods or protank minis.

Thanks a lot.. X where can I get info on the evod/Kanger pro tank etc.. I don't know much about them, do they attach to the ego t battery? Or would I be required to purchase a whole new kit?? P.s I also have 4 very popular mist eliquids to trade for ry4 or similar where do I go on this site to trade... I'm so new to all of this lol!

I would defo recommend a protank, but if cost is an issue go for an evod, or even a kanger t2.

Kanger mini pro tank for the ego...the standard tank looks too big on an ego imo
