No idea what will happen. Personally, even after 2 jabs I am gonna stay cautious still.

Imo the end game for the rich countries goes like this

They vaccinate as many as they can while opening up their economy.
The delta (or other) variants spread rapidly among the unvaccinated.

The vast majority become Immune or highly resistant through vaccination or/and infection.
Infection rates plummet.
Infection that does not cause serious illness but does increase immunity is not a bad thing.

The uk is ahead of the game in both vaccinations and infections and has less vaccine hesitancy then many other countries.
Death rates are low and only rising slowly even though infections have been rising sharply since the middle of last month.
The worst is already past for us. Variants are going to be with us for years/ever but new vaccines will keep it under control in rich western countries.

Those that can never see that the glass is half full should worry about South America and Africa rather than worrying about our own country. Or worry about the damage already done to our country over the past year.

Can this virus mutate to where the vaccines are totally useless.
Or do we become human pin cushions trying umpteen different ones just to survive.

It can mutate both ways.
It can become vacancie resistant or it can become almost nothing causing no symptoms in the vast majority.

Traditionally virus's usually burn them selves out but not always
