Hi All Quite a lot of things to tell you about in this newsletter and not all of them are good. From a Government / ASA crackdown on vape companies on Social Media (which may or may not extend to newsletters - no one seems to know) and what we are setting up to combat that to an 18% Discount Code from now until after the easter Bank Holiday, A five Pawns restock is literally on its way travelling to us - and should be here in time for sending out for Bank holiday. We still have quite a lot of the 30ml Shortfill Sell-thru Bargains lying around also - so we are knocking another 50p off the £3 ones - knock yourselves out - a bargain at £2-£2.50 each! ​ ​ SOCIAL MEDIA SHUTDOWN​ As of the 28th of this month the ASA (Advertising standards agency) has been tasked with mithering vape companies how dare to use social media, like any other business - as such we have been advised to shut down our Facebook/X/Instagram accounts by Thursday night. We believe you can still have a private group on Facebook - that people have to request to join - so we will obviously be looking to set that up. I’m not much of a one for social media anyway - but we do use it for our business - this avenue of getting out there as a company is a massive blow to us and all vape companies. What we do use and support wholeheartedly and have done for years is the Planet Of The Vapes Forum, which we will continue to use and support - if you are not a member we recommend you join - it is one of the last remaining online resources for vaping information, news and reviews. The way things are going now - it is time to circle the wagons. On that note … we are also taking a different route, social media wise - outlined below.... ​ ​ DISCORD​ We have set up the beginnings of a DISCORD server - Discord is a private online chat facility used widely in gaming and follows a forum-like structure. The “servers” or groups are private, so you have to join them at your own volition. This fact makes it okay to use. We have set it up with a channel for support, Juice requests, Advice, Mixology advice, Competitions and notifications of any price reductions, sales, sell-throughs and clearance - we can set up as many channels as we like and will likely add more. Discord is fast becoming the place to find and chat with the vendors you all use and we are also linked with other vendors on there, a lot of whom you will know, and it is easy to flip from one vendor's discord to another. We recommend strongly (in case email lists get hit) that anyone who relies on social media OR our emails for information on deals and news to join our discord server as soon as possible.
