I've been watching a review about the gen mod. vape with vic or someone. he said a five ten air fed tank doesn't work with the gen mod. what is a five ten air fed tank? I've never heard of that before. been googling couldn't find anything. I've got the freemax on it. will it still work? been vaping away with no problems.

It's a tank where the air inlets are around the 510 connector (I assume).

So, you need something like the following to let the air in:

air that comes through the 510 pin ..... it's an old way of doing it, no modern tank uses it.

If your vaping away with no problem why would it all of sudden not work?

@lene don't let the jargon scare you. The little pin with threading at the bottom of your tank which screws to the top of your mod is called 510 connector/pin. Some older tanks used it as an air inlet which required the mod's construction to allow it. Pdg posted a picture above as an example of such a mod. Notice 4 notches surrounding the 510 connection - they let the air to slip through them. Modern tanks use it very rarely. Your tank has a side airflow so you are all right even though your mod doesn't have that feature.

As you can see by the old calix deck. The airflow went through a hole in the 510 connection up under the coil.
Haven't seen it used on any tank for year's.
The gen has a rubberized finish and the 510 connection has no break in the seal around where it meets the tank so air can't get in.
As above. Doubt you'll ever come across the issue.
