Anybody else think this? Can't decide if its my taste buds or have I got a dodgy batch

Tastes just like a doughnut to me, just had a sniff of my concentrate bottle and I can definitely smell that play doh so doubt you've got a dodgy batch. I use it at about 5-6% in my doughnut recipes.

I used 6% in the mix for a isle of custard clone and all I'm getting is that play doh smell and taste.

I'll let it steep some more and see if it fades away
