Today I successfully taught myself how not to punch carts, now I had previously purchased Pre punctured carts and had decided I could do myself!!

Now I have a list of things that you should not use as I used these to my dismay

Vice
Hammer
Nail
Pliers

I put the first carto into the vice and tightened up, but more, just a bit more..wait my perfectly cylindrical cart was now like a pancake, hmmm the vice technique does not work.

Ok get another cart, right measure it against the tank, pushed it in and gauged the distance, ok let's get it out, bit tight, I know grab the thread end with pliers and pull, like a cork out a bottle success !! Not quite the 2nd cart had a flat damaged that end from the pliers!!!

Grab the 3rd cart (is this why they pack them in 5's for idiots like me!!) ok don't Put in the vice, measure on the outside of the tank, ok hold on bench, hold nail and hit with hammer...what could do wrong, well as the nail slipped off the cart and the cart ricocheted around the shed like a scene from a gunfight I suppose it could have been worse.

4th cart was a success though and used the nail and hammer method all be it with a lot more care and attention, not bad for a first well 4th attempt!!

Ok the moral of this newb approach to Vaping, buy Pre punctured cartos or better still buy a carto puncher you can get them from under a tenner which ironically probably cost less than my failed attempts to put a hole in one cart.

Again not my brightest moment, don't forget I do these stupid things so you don't have to, again please don't think any less of me and happy Vaping

Haha...oh yes, I recall trying to DIY the carto holes...not to put too fine a point on it, it was a disaster.

Saying that, I did get a proper punch and STILL they wouldn`t work as they were distorted....so I don`t use slide-on/slide-off tanks any more and only use the Arry hole punch.

Haha...oh yes, I recall trying to DIY the carto holes...not to put too fine a point on it, it was a disaster.

Saying that, I did get a proper punch and STILL they wouldn`t work as they were distorted....so I don`t use slide-on/slide-off tanks any more and only use the Arry hole punch.

I'm just going to stick with my vivi Nova's and my ebaron when I get it, I'm probably going to sell my Prive tank, I much prefer the simplistic Vaping life style

I`ve tried several types of tank and if they are a pain to do then I`m not surprised people are put off...forever. I had episodes of fury with a couple.

If I didn`t have my ACTV3s, I`d probably be using something else as well - although I don`t know what, and if things were too annoying I`d probably be smoking

The vivi's are great even with my history of never reading instructions I managed to use and have no problem what so ever, and so easy to fill

I like the Vivis in theory...my first test of them a few months back didn`t go too well, but I`ve just tried another test on one last week (with the specific intention of rebuilding them after the major horrors or other rebuildables in the past)

The only trouble with them is they can`t keep up with me and I`m not programmed to be an automatic frequent tipper

My sister`s a light vaper and she thinks it`s great though...so horses for courses and all that.

I`m not sure about that, stopped keeping track when I stopped using ego-tanks (which were easy to fill up the night before then have them ready for the next day)

I just use a half litre bottle now with a spout on it, but when I was using the 20ml bottles with a spiky filler on it...it was a nuisance filling up 20 x 20ml bottles each time and rotating the filler when a bottle ran out...

and my "OCD" always kicked in when I had more than one empty bottle !!

A 20 ml bottle used to last 2 days at least approx, so i do tend to go at it a bit sometimes...and that is the (long winded & around the houses) reason that the Vivis tend to not suit me as I always seem to get dry hits.

Wow, I do about 30-40 ml a week and I thought I was a heavy user!!!

Jeees I only vape about 2ml a day on a heavy day, and being off work has been quite heavy as my Provari is only lasting about 1 3/4 days
