Review
When I first mixed this, it tasted weird. After steeping it tasted OK but weak. I upped the concentration to 15% and it tasted really strange again. After a week’s steeping I tried it again.: What a transformation!.
This is a really classy bittersweet chocolate flavour and reminiscent of Green & Black’s chocolate. It doesn’t really need anything else with it at 15% it’s good to go. A quality flavour, really classy. It also delivers the bittersweet tastes of its name, just as a good chocolate should.
As a mixing ingredient it was a little disappointing – tiny amounts of orange, mint or cherry liqueur flavour dominated it, which is a shame as I was looking forwards to that luxurious chocoholic flavour producing some exquisite chocolate specialities. It didn’t. I took the percentage of this concentrate up to 24% against 2% orange and it worked – the result was really classy, but expensive.
In conclusion, if you want a stand alone top quality chocolate aficionado vape, this may be it.
Steeping
Absolutely essential. At least 5 days.
Vapour
OK
Throat hit
Value
For the flavour, it’s great value.
Use as a mixing ingredient
Disappointing, unless you are prepared to use in big percentages.
If I wanted a dark chocolate I would use this company’s double dark chocolate. If I wanted a milk chocolate, I would use Inawera’s Milk chocolate. I wouldn’t use this – it is too fine and easily dominated. However, if you up the percentage you use, you can get the classy chocolate with other flavours – at a price..– though up against a really powerful concentrate, such as Inawera’s Rose, it will struggle.
Effects on tanks and atomizers and any known ‘nasties’
