I believe concentrates are normally PG based HOWEVER some of the concentrates (in general, not sure of Classikools) do contain oil

You don't wanna vape oil

Just syringes which you have.

menthol crystals from the chemist....
crush them..half fill a 10ml bottle..fill/top with pg...than just use as other concentrates.

i have however had several large gon and tinic's

Ethyl Maltol is really just a candyfloss flavour, doesn't really make anything sweeter, but does dull down some sharp flavours somewhat and rounds out mixes.

For some real sweetness use Sucralose.

to answer the menthol question..
i just thought it was a very handy thing to have around when your mixing..
even very low %'s can make something nasty ..vapeable.(this 'will' be handy for any new mixer)
I held off for ages but it's very easy to make your own concentrate.
