clearomizers keep splitting?!

Hi all,
Got a question for y'all!
I seem to be going through clearomizers at an alarming rate, bought 2 new ones last week and already the plastic has 'split' at the base where the plastic meets the metal base and as a result liquid slowly seeps out of them!
How long are clearomizers supposed to last? Am I doing something wrong here? Could it simply be build quality? I purchased them from vapourtine online, anyone else have any issues with them or any advice?

P.S. They are CE4 clearomizers on an ego battery

Thanks in advance.

What flavour are you vaping? Some flavours will crack your tank. There is a thread somewhere here with a list of all the liquids that will crack your tanks.

What juice are you using?
Some juices are known to 'crack' plastic tanks :(

Darn, beaten to it!

Juices are from vapourtine aswell, use various flavours but my go to is the black cherry 18mg

Vapourtine have their own vendor forum here on PotV you'll probably get a better reply direct from them.

you can also alert posters on PotV using the @ symbol in front of their username like you would on Twitter, like Vapourtine that.

It sounds like you're screwing the clearos on too tight - or you're using a tank cracker liquid but check with them and they should help you out.

Hiya, The CE4's are from Smoktech so quality should be ok. Are you sure their cracked? I only ask because I had one customer report a crack but it just looked like it had a crack line because they forgot that it had the thread inside it and once the liquid is in it is very hard to see the threading and can sometimes look like a crack.

Though if you say its leaking from the crack then thats a different story. It could be like Dopey says and you are tightening it too much. None of the liquid we stock are the crack-able types, I think the crack-able liquid types are Lemon or cinammon, but not 100% sure.

Life expectancy on atomisers are anything from 2 weeks to 6 weeks though I have dragged some to 8 weeks with some cleaning. However, regardless of life expectancy, it shouldn't crack.

Let me know how you get on please.

Thanks

Aaron

Thanks Moggers, PM me your real name or order number and ill throw in a free dual coil cart so you can compare or at least you'll have something to go to if you get a little heavy handed again :)

Over tightening all day long mate :)
Mate at work managed it with a vivi nova, which impressed me :D

Managed to force the plastic over the metal base! Looked fine, but pissed juice like a geriatric on a bus :)

If you struggle to undo it, it's too tight, speaks the voice of personal and empirical experience :D
