cheers @mattc1 , I love making stuff , the idea , design & making it look nice with a decent finish is really satisfying , hopefully in the not too distant future I want to turn it into a little business.

All the best with your little adventure mate, but yes it is very pleasing seeing something made from a random block of wood to something useful, or nice to look at. Also you are like me by the sounds of it when it comes down to the finish, it has to be perfect

I'm about to order a custom built cnc router , something more rigid ( like you have built) to give me more options in the material I can use , a larger working area and also a little more speed , this Workbee cnc has been great to learn whats what , but I think I have outgrown it , I see the little box y9ou made is mod sized , are you going to have a go at making mods ?
This is one of the last I made , I gave up after this as it got much harder to sell them via Facebook & ebay

Looks good, and yes i am just sorting out a vac chamber and all the resin and stuff for stab wood. But am only doing it for me and friends. As its just a hobby and not in it for money. As some say there isn't money in mod making haha

ahh , I did the same , I have a vac chamber & a pressure pot , but only used them a couple of times, I should really have another play with them , I hope you're gonna post pics of your projects and I might just make another mod or 2 if I get inspired

Yes will post pics as and when. Do you have a idea about what CNC Router you are going to go for next?.
But to be honest i have got so so much learning to do about it all, but thats the fun side of it to
You should do more mods for yourself if you have the time.

The next machine is going to be custom made (not by me though), I've been saving the proceeds of the games I make and am going for a working space of 1250 x 1250 x 150mm (half sheet size), closed loop steppers , 20mm ball screw , on a 75mm x75mm steel box section frame , linear rails, either a 2.2 or 3 kw spindle , etc. etc. all good spec , & hopefully (if I have enough money) a 4th axis with max 1000mm .

Blimey that sounds like a real gem you are going to be getting mate, and having the 4th axis will put a whole different spin on things

And the spindle is the thing i will be upgrading on mine, but its all money eh
