Morning fella , how did the first cuts go ?

Not to bad, was very happy with the outcome. The only thing i have to change is that its cutting about 0.5 mm to small, but will sort that out.
I will pop a picture up after dinner today

Nice work, what software is that you are using ?

Using open source Free Cad, but still getting used to it and lots to learn!.
Machine controller is linuxcnc.

I make a lot of hardwood board games & vape build stands , just started making 3 tier cake stands and other stuff & I'm using Vectric software mainly at the moment.

I did start off with Fusion 360 , but for quite simple models like attached its a bit overkill.

I have in the past made mods , dna , unregulated & mech squonkers & I used Fusion 360 for that
