Hi all just a quick question. I have recently got into rebuilables and have watched god knows how many hours of tutorials. in every one i watch, the coils after being put into the rda are still really tightly wound and touching but all the ones i seem to try have slight spacing inbetween each wrap after i screw them in. Is there something im missing or is it just a case of keep practicing. Sorry if im missing something or being dunce (wouldnt suprise me lol) any help is much appreciated

It is a case of practice makes perfect but if you do have spaces dry burn the coil, without any wick, and use ceramic tweesers to push the coils together.

The little knowledge I have picked up.

1: Torch wire beforehand to reduce springiness.

2. Keep tension while coiling

3. Pulse fire on Atty and squeeze together coil with tweezers.

Either A: keep practicing

or

B: get coil makers such as Kuro coilers or boom booms....

Option B is recommended!!

I must admit I am quite lazy and have never bothered torching the wire before coiling it but I also have a coil master which makes simple coils very easy.

Thanks to both of you much appreciated will look into coil makers and i hadnt heard of torching the wire so will give that a go in a minute

I have tried the coil makers but it really didn't turn out well for me and went back to doing it by hand.

If you search micro coil on YouTube there are plenty of videos on the perfect builds, some heat the coil and squeeze the coils together using a blow torch before placing in the rda\rba, others build & then pulse the coil on the mod, squeezing the coils together. Normal tweezers work okay (but don't do the squeezing while firing as you will get a short -this is where the ceramic tipped tweezers come in handy)

Ok cheers all sounds like coil makers like everything vaping related seem to be subjective will try heating and using tweezers thanks again for all your help planet of the vapes is awesome never found so many helpful people in one place

Sounds like you make perfect spaced coils they are a thing too.
With a spaced coil none of the coils should be touching with a micro all should be touching.
If it works then all is good.
