Coil help pls

Hi everyone I recently purchased the dda from TW I think they call it the octopus or something cause of the wick, the reason I'm posting is because I heard somewhere about the wick and coil being higher on the post gives more throat hit.. Is this correct? Basically under the coil there is a little hole directly underneath and I was wondering how high the coil has to be is it best to have it closer to the hole or not... Lol this doesn't sound dirty at all

that looks a good distance from the air flow to me, it might give a little more clouds if it was slightly higher but might not be noticeable
