coil short

ok, so I just put a pre-rolled coil, Alien 0.28 Ohm 0.3*0.8 32GA, into my THC Tauren one. fired fine on the Ohms reader, but when trying to fire on mod I get a very quick puff then says coil short, then after a couple more fires, ohms too low 0.08Ohms

any ideas why this could be happening, i've used a few of these coils already as Rob sent them, and had no problem

nevermind, fixed it. I was a twat

I see you have sorted it but just to note i had one of these that would randomly short for no reason and trust me i onow how to build a tank.
I was sent a replacement and that had the exact same problem so they both found their way into the bin.

I think I was just setting the coil too high and it was touching the chimney, put in an new coil a bit lower and bish bash bosh, all good
