Hi, I am currently using Aspire tank with Aspire Cleito coils, the 0.4 Ohms. I am vaping the West Country Dairy Co juices, Apple Crumble Custard and Custard Deluxe from Prime Vapes. However, I find my coil lasts 3-5 days on average before needing to be replaced.

Am I using the wrong coil or tank for this juice? If so, what do you recommend?

Thank you.

How long do you usually get out of your coils? Are we talking a huge reduction or just a day or two?

Not the cleito coil but my .7 nautilus coils only last that long using prime vapes juice.

In my experience cleito coils burn out when you look at them funny, it's the tank that nearly made me give up on vaping and made me definitely give up on Aspire products.

Hi digi,

This may depend on your wattage and vaping style. The 0.4 Cleito coils are rated at 40W to 60W iirc and should cope fine with the 70VG liquids.
Are the coils reading at 0.4 on your mod?
Are you chain vaping with long puffs?

I use RTA's and find I'm re-wicking and cleaning the coil after a few days with any Custard type liquids.

3 to 5 days from a stock coil at high-ish watts with a 70VG Custard type doesn't sound too bad IMO.

I'd recommend switching to an RTA :)

Juices that contain a lot of sweeteners tend to gunk up coils fast (I haven't tried the juices you mention but I suspect that they contain a lot of sweetener). As the coils get coated with burnt on sweeteners it becomes less efficient at vaporising juice and it taints the flavour, unfortunately the only answer is to change the coils more frequently.

I like sweet juices and changed to using RTAs instead of stock coil tanks because I found that no coil in any stock coil tank ever lasted long because of the build up of burnt sweeteners on the mesh or wire and buying packs of coils frequently was getting expensive.

If the cost of coils is an issue for you I recommend you try to find juices you like that aren't as sweet - or look into getting an RTA if you want to vape sweet juices as you can easily replace the cotton and clean and re-use the coils - there are lots of tutorials on Youtube that will help if you aren't confident about building.
