Coil Temperatures

Hi Guys
Don't know if it's just me but I have been using my Innokin Proton with the Scion 2 Tank and while only having been vaping a short while I noticed that I enjoy my vaping below the recommended temp of the coil, the coil I have in is recommended ay 80 to 150 and I have tried that and find it a bit warm at 80, I have set the temp to 60 and to me its spot on, same with The Veneno with the big baby tank, coil recommends 70 to 90 and I like it at 50 and it's nice and cool. My question is do you go below recommended wattage on your coils and do you think there is something wrong with the way I vape or just stick what I am happy with. Thanks In Advance

Nothing wrong with running it below the so called recommend, it's just as it says it's not a MUST....
Vaping is all about finding what works for you and of course being sensible..
Heck the other half runs her Gnome tank at 30 degrees and the recommended on her coils is 50 - 75 range

Do what suits you mate. It's all about what is best for the way you vape. I run my smok coils rated 50 - 70w at 30w and never had a problem at all. If you're happy then stick with it.

for the past 5 years ive used around 50w on all my tanks even though most coils are rated 90-120w
staying low aalso can help prolong the coils life as your not pushing them to their limit.

Much appreciate your words of wisdom guys, I like a cool vape and watch some of the reviewers on youtube who must be burning their mouths at the silly wattage they are vaping at. The scion tank that recommends I think it is 80 to 150 I tried the Strawberry Lemon Fizz at 80 and all I could honestly taste was a bitter Lemon, now when I vape at 60 I can actually taste the strawberry and the lemon isn't bitter. Thanks again guys.

Stick with what you are happy with.

i have a armour pro mod that has a smart mode on it that sets the wattage to what it thinks is best for the coil when you put the tank on. I use it with a beserker mini tank with a 1-1.2 coil at 12w the smart mode suggested 35w so I thought hmm I wonder what its like at 35w? Soon enough I found out its very fucking hot and tastes of burnt cotton.

I prefer a nice cool vape, I think sweet juices are better at lower temps, especially with lemon juices, when I first tried the strawberry lemon fizz, it tasted like the lemsip medicine and about as hot, no taste of strawberry at 60 I could taste the strawberry tho the lemon does tend to be stronger than strawberry and after taste is very much lemon.
